Buy The Dip - What this isn't
If you've been around crypto for any length of time you'll have been exposed to the myriad of memes and stereotypes that abound in a largely anonymous, 24-7, chronically online sector.
One of my favourites is "buy the dip". It speaks to the nihilism that is an ever present undercurrent in all of crypto.
At it's least interesting it's the rallying cry of social media "traders" who will often throw it out on most downturns hoping to see one of them rebound spectacularly and so they can delete all their other posts, reference the one they were right on, and use it to build a larger audience.
Below is a rare example of one of these "influencers" clearly hedging their bets in the "buy the dip" post. It's great theatre to be sure.
"buy the dip" is synonymous with scams though.
I am an avid tourist of memecoins (but actual trader of very few) and on X and in Telegram chats the minute insiders dump out on their holders you'll see the reactionary "buy the dip!" posts go out (even as the project is literally imploding).
Often these will persist well after the token project has been abandoned. Which can lead to some unintentional case studies of shared delusion meets stages of grief.
Currently these Telegrams are examples of this playing out in real time. The most interesting ones are always the projects that have some legit hope of things turning around (however small).

No better study has been done on this phenomenon than the excellent Folding Ideas documentary about all the stuff that happened (and is still happening) after the GameStop saga event that we're most familiar with.
If many of the phrases are familiar here it's because a lot of these people would go on to transition seamlessly into crypto scams either as the scammers or the ones being scammed. Or both.
$BULB and "the dip"
Recently we've been seeing some angst and anger on the Bulb Discord over the token price.
It's understandable to an extent as the token price has been bad. Really bad. 
Whilst it's not worth going into the ins and outs of the events that led to this (no one comes out of those looking good, including myself...) this does throw up an opportunity to ask:

Investors vs Writers
Not all $BULB holders are avid users of the platform just as not all avid users can be thought of as investors in the platform (despite also being $BULB holders).
From a purely investor standpoint, unless you have a longer time horizon, the current outlook isn't great for adding to your current holdings, even at these prices. I think you'd struggle to make a 3-4 month case for holding $BULB as an asset.
Staking yields are less than you can get other places and the trading volume currently (added to the lack of listings) means there isn't likely to be a much potential upside in the next few months.

For most tokens that's where this conversation ends as there's only two things to assess: future price & predicted yield.
If these are high enough for your likely take profit time scale then you buy more. Otherwise you go with another option.
