Free Airdrops Rewards Farming Part 1: DOP Test-net

Introduction

The year 2023-2024 is indeed the year when Blockchain and Cryptocurrency are gaining popularity again, all for the right reasons.

Decentralized applications developers know this too. Which is why they are taking this opportunity to capitalize on the influx of users, whether returning old users or new users of the crypto space.

Before every decentralized apps or DApps goes mainstream, they will invite users to test out in their network, which they call them "test-nets".

And most (if not all) developers reward early contributors through incentive programs that encourages usage and traffic on their Test-net servers. Most of these programs involve airdrops to the contributors in the form of cryptocurrency tokens.

By increasing usage and traffic, developers have much more data in terms of performance, and also potential bugs which might appear so they can solve it and make the server much more efficient before releasing them to the public, which are then called "main-nets".

Here I will share some of the "test-nets" participation activities I have been doing. Some have guaranteed airdrops, others have great potential for an incentive program.

Best thing of all? They are mostly free (just require daily activities or even 1 time activity) and some involve obtaining Test-net tokens from faucets.

Let us start with Part 1:

DOP - Data Ownership Protocol

What is DOP? Taken from its website:

The Data Ownership Protocol (DOP) is utilizing zero-knowledge proofs in order to allow flexible transparency on top of Ethereum L1. DOP allows users and DApps to store assets and make transactions privately, or selectively disclose token holdings and historical information.

According to their whitepaper, the concept is DOP is to protect owner's data when it comes to information involving the crypto space.

Our platform introduces the concept of user-controlled selective disclosure of on-chain data. Users can choose to selectively disclose certain account information and transaction details, while keeping other data points private

In other words, this concept of "selective transparency" gives power to the owners to be flexible in terms of data and information they wish to disclose to another party.

And in order to test their features, they came up with a test-net for users to interact and test out their features.

In order to qualify for their upcoming guaranteed airdrop, it only takes you 5-10minutes to complete all the tasks, and at the end of the session, to refer the test-net to another 3 persons (and complete the tasks) in order to qualify. Very simple!

Step 1: Create Your Wallet

A really straight forward task. Just create a new wallet, save the recovery phrase, set a password and you're good to go.

Step 2: Connect To Your Metamask Wallet

This test-net requires you to connect to your Metamask wallet as that is how they recognize you during sign up. If you wish, do use a burner wallet and connect to it instead of a main one.

Once you're done, you are good to start doing the tasks stated.

Step 3: Start Completing the Tasks

This is probably the easiest task of all. Just sign in with your X (Formerly known as Twitter) account and follow DOP on X.

Now, on to the next task.

Click on the button to claim Sepolia ETH to your Metamask wallet. Make sure you set your network to Sepolia Testnet.

Next you can claim DOP test tokens to your wallet by clicking the "Add Token" button on Metamask and paste down the contract address stated. You will then see DOP tokens in your wallet.

Next you can claim Test Assets and as before, click on the "Add Token" button on Metamask and paste the contract of the Asset you choose from the drop by menu.

After that, you can start to do Encrypt Assets task, by clicking on the button and interact with your Metamask wallet. Just follow the steps stated and you should be able to complete it really easily.

Sending and Decrypt assets are the next steps to do. Just follow the instructions stated and interact with your Metamask Wallet and it should be completed very easily as well. Once you are done, you can proceed to the next step.

This is probably the "most challenging part", which is to get 3 more friends to do the same tasks. If you have a group of airdrop hunters or close friends, just get them to do it and guide them through. By doing this, you should be able to complete it in no time at all.

After that, just keep trying to get as many as possible to join via your referral link. The more you get, the higher the % bonus of your airdrop when it launches.
