The Piggy

There once was a pig, so pink, Who loved to swim, oh what a kink!
He'd dive into the mud, And give a big thud, And roll around, with a grin and a wink.
This pig, he loved to play in the slop, And never once, did he stop.
He'd splash and he'd splosh, And then he'd wash, In the mud, so thick, like a mop.
But one day, as he swam in the dirt, He saw a butterfly, oh so pert!
He tried to catch it, And soon he did get it, But then he realized, it wasn't dessert.
The butterfly, it flew away, And the pig, he couldn't have his way.
But then he just smiled, And wallowed, in the pile, Of mud, where he'd always play.
So if you're ever feeling down, my friend, Just remember the pig, and how he'd tend.
To find joy in the mud, And never give up, And be happy, until the very end!
