Damanjodi is a small town in koraput district of odisha. The town is surrounded by green forests and hills.
It has the 2 nd talked Hanuman statue in the world and a famous Hanuman temple. This place is known as Hanuman vatika.
Other than this, there is a beautiful hilltop jagannath temple. The jagannath temple is built and maintained by Nalco.

Other than temple there is an artificial lake in damanjodi, known as sabari lake. There is a statue of dinosaur in sabari lake. Nalco has built a artificial waterfall here and there in a park near to the lake.

You can spot ducks swimming in the lake and a cage for rabbit near that. Seeing the cute ravis eating grasses is worth of time. You can seat on the benches in the park sand can enjoy the natural beauty.

Also there is an open gym in the park. Local employees of Nalco often spent time in this open gym to support their health.

Just behind the lake, there is a Sai temple. Inside the temple, there is a idol of Sai Baba, made up of white marble.

Every Thursday, the devotees gathers third in a large no to offer prayer to the lord.

There are two stadiums in the township, where children plays footballs and cricket. Also during republic day and independence day local students, students from nearby schools, cisf, etc does parade. At times for show also done in the stadium.

In sector 3, there is a bus stand. This is the only bud stand in the township and serves intercity buses. The bus stand is well maintained.

There is a market in sector 3 , where you can find the co operative stores and other shops. This market is well connected to everyone.

You can spot a rose garden in sector 2. This is a park, where you can find many rose plants with different colours. A place for nature lovers.
