What actually is democracy? Please, tell me!
A government for the people or for the privileged?
Blood bath, after four years and more years?
Billions wasted on elections and campaign?
Please Nigeria, what is democracy?

They go around the streets, the media;other platforms.
Spreading lies and deceit;decieving people. Propaganda!
Just to win the contest and steal to the best of their abilities.
Enjoy the ear-piercing sirens;power intoxication!
Upturning the law and maiming those who stand by the law.
Please Nigeria, what is democracy?

We bury the dead every day; killed by the guns of democracy
We lose money every day; swallowed by the campaigns of lies.
But our problem still stare us at our faces-no electricity!
Our identities - poverty, unemployment, disease and death!
Fueled more by our democratic tribalism and corruption.
Please Nigeria, what is democracy?

Stop the race;
Think the best!
Save the country;
Not the party
