One Day Hand in Hand
Miles may stretch and oceans roar,
But our connection needs no shore.
Though screens our only meeting place,
Love finds warmth in each embrace.
Laughter travels on the breeze,
Whispered secrets through the trees.
Stars wink secrets, stories told,
Two hearts beating, brave and bold.
Time crawls slow, each day a test,
But anticipation fuels the quest.
For in the distance, dreams ignite,
Burning bright with future's light.
Patience threads a golden line,
A love untangled, truly thine.
Each call, a song the soul remembers,
Distance fades, love's ember embers.
So hold on tight, my love, my dear,
Though mountains rise and oceans veer.
For distance cannot break the chain,
Of hearts that beat as one, in rain or sun.
One day, hand in hand we'll roam,
No longer just two hearts, but home.
Until then, love's flame shall burn,
Across the miles, at every turn.
