- Johan Cruyff: Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of his era, and a pioneer of the "total football" style. He led the Netherlands to the World Cup final in 1974 and had a successful club career, most notably with Ajax and Barcelona.
- Zinedine Zidane: French football icon who is mostly known for his individual talent on the field and leading his team (France) to World Cup glory in 1998.
