The Drive (part 1)

Two Fridays ago, I was home being a couch potato as
usual and a call came in. It was from my friend, Philip. "Areyou free man?, Wanna go out?, he said. I was reluctant atfirst because I had nothing to wear and didn't want to go anywhere. Besides I hate going to parties with Philip. He is more of the ladies man than I am and I suck at meeting new people. He is a heavy drinker unlike me that just a sip can get my head spinning. I already had enough reasons to say no but I still ended up telling him " Yeah man, I'm down for whatever".

"Alright, I'm driving over to your place, get dressed", he said.
In just about 20 minutes, he arrived and I hopped in.
