Three Things You Can Do With Your Galxe Passport Right Now
If you've been participating in any testnet, airdrop, or other activities for up-and-coming crypto and web3 projects, then there's a good chance you're familiar with Galxe. Sites like Galxe let projects create task lists and quests for users to complete for a chance to win prizes like airdrops, whitelists, and other perks. Galxe is probably best known for their OATs - On-chain Achievement Tokens. Users can follow various projects on Galxe, complete various social media and/or testnet or on-chain activities, and collect these digital assets in their wallets.
Galxe also has another digital asset available - their own soulbound token, referred to as a Galxe Passport. Soulbound tokens (SBTs) are becoming popular in the web3 scene - these tokens are non-transferable NFTs, and soulbound tokens serve as a proof-of-human identity verification utility while storing your personal information securely and anonymously.

Various crypto and web3 projects are utilizing soulbound tokens to prove that users are legitimate and to help prevent Sybil attacks. The Galxe Passport is a common soulbound token option in the projects I've been participating in lately, so I went ahead and saved up my recent crypto faucet earnings (from my favorite faucet sites like CoinPayU and FaucetCrypto) to earn the 0.025 $BNB (plus gas) needed to mint my Galxe Passport.
Use Your Galxe Passport to Earn Points in the Galxe Community Space Season Two Quest
Recently, it seems that Galxe campaigns are leaning into utilizing the anti-bot aspects of soulbound tokens like the Galxe Passport to give questline participants a chance to snag a good deal of campaign points by proving they're not bots. A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to earn 2500 points in the Linea Voyage quest which resulted in an NFT airdrop this past week. Starting last week, we can do the same in the Taiko campaign. And then starting this week, Galxe is giving participants in the Community Space Season Two quest the opportunity to jump ahead by 100 points. Competing in future Galxe quests could turn out to be good ways to qualify for future airdrops and other perks from emerging projects, too, so keep an eye out for those offers.
Use Your Galxe Passport to Increase Your Phaver Cred
Phaver is a web3 social media platform built on Lens Protocol. For users who don't already have a Lens profile, Phaver users are hopeful that they'll qualify for future Lens profile drops. Phaver has also recently revamped their points system, including the various ways to earn Cred. The amount of Cred you earn each month correlates to your level on Phaver, which in turn will dictate how many Phaver tokens (to be launched) are earned and which partner airdrops and other perks you might qualify for.
Galxe Passport is one of three current soulbound tokens that you can utilize in your Phaver account. Once you have your Passport, head over to mint Phaver's KYC NFT (you'll need about $0.01 in $MATIC for gas fees) and link it up to your profile.
Use Your Galxe Passport to Mint your zkGalxe Passport on Manta
The Manta Network is a zero-knowledge (zk) project currently partnering with many big names in the gamefi, socialfi, and NFT realms to offer zero-knowledge tokens corresponding to their partners' existing soulbound tokens. The zkGalxe Passport was one of the first offerings, and not only is it free to mint - currently they're also dropping 2 $KMA into your Manta Wallet (a free wallet which you'll need to mint your zero-knowledge tokens) for each token that you mint! You may have also heard of Manta in recent days due to the launch of their Pacific testnet, too.
Conclusion
Do you have a Galxe Passport? If so, are there other ongoing projects where it's been useful for you to qualify for airdrops or other perks? If that's the case, I'd love to hear about - drop me a line in the comment section below. Referral links are always welcome!
