Troost-Ekong out from playing till mid Oct

Injured while representing Nigeria internationally, defender William Troost-Ekong has been out by Watford until mid-October, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.
During the FIFA international break, the 29-year-old was a member of the Super Eagles team for the friendlies against Algeria.

First, Nigeria faced Algeria B in a test match. It was during this play that Troost-Ekong suffered a hamstring injury and had to leave the 2-2 tie.
Due to his injury, he was unable to participate in the Foxes' 2-1 victory over Algeria's top team.
The Hornets stated that their new manager Slaven Bilic will be without a few players, including Troost-Ekong, ahead of the Hornets' away match at Stoke City.
“William Troost-Ekong was forced off the pitch with a hamstring injury whilst representing Nigeria last week and is aiming for a mid-October return,” read part of the club’s statement.
