Foods That Make Natural Insulin:
Cabbage - Cabbage is rich in fiber and low in calories. Its glycemic index is very low and this is the reason why it reduces high blood sugar rapidly. Apart from this, cabbage also has antioxidant and anti-hyperglycemic elements which make it work as a medicine for diabetic patients. In 2008, a research was done on rats and it was found that the blood sugar level of rats who were fed cabbage for 60 days came down rapidly. Along with keeping the blood sugar level under control, they also benefit the kidneys.
Bhindi - The powerhouse of fiber is lady's finger. It is very effective in controlling the blood sugar level. It not only activates insulin, but also increases its production. Not only this, alpha-glucosidase inhibitors present in okra seeds prevent the conversion of starch into glucose. If you want, cut the okra pods and soak them in water at night and drink its water after waking up in the morning.
