Die Young 🌱
Here is a poem about not wanting to die young:
Ode to a Longer Life
I don't want to die young, not yet, not now,
There's so much left to do, so much to see, somehow.
The world is vast and wondrous, full of life to explore,
I yearn to experience it all, to discover so much more.
The sunrises and sunsets, the changing of the seasons,
The laughter of loved ones, the joy that life brings - these are the reasons
I wish to linger longer, to savor each precious day,
To leave my mark on this world before I'm called away.
There's knowledge to be gained, wisdom to be sought,
Challenges to be conquered, lessons to be taught.
I want to grow old gracefully, to age with dignity,
To live a full and meaningful life, to be all I can be.
Death may come for us all, that much is true,
But I'll fight with all my might to keep it at bay from you.
I don't want to die young, not before my time is due,
There's still so much living left for me to do.
So I'll cherish each moment, savor every breath,
And face the future fearlessly, unafraid of what lies beneath.
For I'm determined to live, to thrive, to see it through,
This grand adventure called life - I don't want to die young, do you?
