Binance Coin (BNB) has recently staged an impressive rally, reclaiming its position as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. BNB’s total open interest (OI) has increased from $354 million to $362 million within the past 24 hours. However, a significant portion of this open interest is attributed to short-position holders, as evidenced by BNB’s negative Binance funding rate of -0.08%. This negative funding rate implies that a considerable number of traders are betting against BNB’s continued upward trajectory, anticipating a potential reversal.

Examining technical indicators, BNB’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) has surged from 66 to 78.4 over the past three days, indicating overbought conditions.
