About Atleta Network :
Atleta is a pioneering blockchain solution designed to harness the inherent verifiability and auditability found within blockchain data structures. Its primary aim is to establish an open, permissionless, censorship-resistant, and credibly neutral environment, specifically tailored for the development and deployment of decentralized applications within the sports industry.
Drawing upon architectural frameworks from leading Web3 technologies, notably Substrate, Atleta comprises a multi-layered, modular blockchain network. This network is meticulously engineered to include an execution layer (EVM) with a Rust-based runtime compiled into WASM, a multi-chain relay hub, a distributed storage network, and a robust node network consisting of validators (Block Builders and Producers) and nominators.
Atleta operates through three interconnected layers, each serving distinct functionalities and governed by a universal network of nodes:
1) Atleta - EL (Execution Layer): This forms the foundational Layer 1, providing an EVM-compatible smart contract platform for executing transactions and facilitating the development of decentralized applications.
2) Atleta - IO (Interoperability): Serving as the "layer 0" or Multi-Chain feature, this layer facilitates seamless cross-chain communication through a relay point, enabling the transfer of assets and messages.
3) Atleta - SL (Storage Layer): Functioning as the data repository, this layer facilitates decentralized storage of diverse information types such as videos and text files.
Recognizing the complexity of integrating various layers, BCSports has planned a phased rollout of Atleta in the following order: Execution, Interoperability, and Storage. Upon the completion of all three layers, the network will evolve into a fully decentralized entity, empowering ATLA token holders to contribute significantly to the platform's future development direction.
