RavenQuest, a free-to-play MMO from Tavernlight Games, merges traditional MMORPG gameplay with Web3 technology. Since its early access launch, the game has drawn over 74,000 players and is lauded for its dynamic player-driven economy. The rule is simple: the more gold we collect, the higher we climb on the leaderboard, and the more $QUEST tokens we receive. Here’s how you can maximize your in-game gold and $QUEST earnings while enjoying the immersive gameplay:

I propose that we first describe the opportunities in-game and then those outside of it (on platform).
In-game:
1. Log in Daily for Consistent Bonuses
Every day you log in, you receive a daily gold reward, and this reward multiplies the longer your streak lasts. Each consecutive login increases the reward multiplier, making it a valuable habit to log in every day – even if you don’t have time to play extensively.
Missing a day resets the multiplier, so staying consistent is key to maximizing this steady source of income. Pairing this with other strategies can create a strong foundation for your gold earnings.
2. Complete Adventure Board Tasks
Adventure board tasks are a reliable and rewarding way to earn gold while also leveling up your legacy and professions. You can tackle up to three tasks daily, each offering gold rewards and boosting your "adventuring spirit" – a temporary buff that increases your EXP gain from creature hunts.
Focusing on these tasks early in your session ensures you not only maximize your gold but also gain valuable experience to progress faster. This method is perfect for players looking to balance resource accumulation with character development.
3.Compete on the Profession Leaderboards
RavenQuest features an extensive leaderboard system with twenty different categories to earn $QUEST tokens, twelve of which are tied to profession levels. You know, from cooking, through alchemy, to blacksmithing... those kinds of things. Climbing into the top 100 of any category comes with lucrative rewards, offering both gold and $QUEST tokens.
While this path is competitive, it’s also one of the most rewarding for dedicated players. Specializing in a specific profession or activity can help you focus your efforts and climb the ranks, reaping significant rewards along the way.
4. Engage in Guild Wars
Guild Wars provide an excellent opportunity to earn substantial gold. Winning guilds receive 500 gold, plus an additional 20 gold for each placement achieved during the Bidding Phase.
Even if your guild doesn’t win, there are still rewards to be claimed. Participants in losing guilds earn 200 gold, while non-participating members receive 100 gold, with extra gold awarded based on placement rankings. By actively participating in Guild Wars, you can significantly boost your earnings while contributing to your guild’s success.

5. Complete Achievements and open the RavenPacks
RavenQuest features over 80 achievements, which reward gold as you progress through various aspects of the game. These achievements naturally guide you through different activities, offering a rewarding loop as you explore and develop your character.
Additionally, as you level up and complete quests, you’ll earn Dawn Essence, which can be used to purchase RavenPacks. These collectible cards not only enhance your abilities but also increase your daily login gold based on their rarity. Opening your RavenPacks regularly ensures your daily gold rewards continue to grow over time.

6. Leverage Referral Gold Bonuses
One of the simplest ways to start earning gold passively is through the referral system. When you refer new players to RavenQuest, you earn a 20% gold bonus on all the gold they generate. But that’s not all – the system also rewards indirect referrals. When your referred players bring in others, you earn 50% of the gold from these secondary connections. It’s a huge boost of gold, I’m not sure if I’m a fan of such a big referral bonus, but... it is what it is.

My advice
During the first two early access phases, I found a few strategies particularly effective. Unfortunately, I had little time to play and had to maximize my passive income.
