What happened to a wish

There are 365 days in a year
And your special day is here

A day that certainly marks an Angel's birth
A day when God's beautiful creation surfaced earth

I want to let you know that you are very special to me
Though I may not have the chance to be who you want to see

Someone with both a beautiful smile and soul is rare
But I see all this in you whenever I stare

Remember earlier when I once said that
You are God's gift I can't sent back?
I meant that.

I pray that our friendship last longer
And the bond we share grow stronger

Because sometimes I feel like I don't matter to you anymore
