What is Physics?
The field of science known as physics is focused on the makeup and characteristics of matter and energy.
Popular Laws in Physics
- Ohm's Law: It says that, if the physical state, temperature, etc., of the conductor does not vary, the current flowing through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the potential difference across the two points.
- Coulomb’s Law (1738-1806): When the distance between the two electric charges is doubled, the force between them drops to a quarter of what it was previously. In honor of Charles Augustin de Coulomb, who created the law, the SI unit of electric charge is named coulomb.
- Boyles's Law: According to this, the volume of a given mass of a gas varies inversely with the gas's pressure when the temperature remains constant.
- Charles's Law: According to this law, for every degree Celsius a gas's temperature changes, its volume changes by 1/273 of its volume at 0 degrees Celsius, pressure remaining constant.
