I spent the Fall at Murphy’s Library

Because it’s cold outside, I want to keep myself warm, so I chose the library as my cocoon for my first fall experience.
“Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.” Sidney Sheldon
Where I came from, the library is not a popular place for individuals to spend time. Let alone worshiping it as a source of aspirations or as exciting as paradise. Commonly we utilize the library for our studies at school and university. It is that plain and straight.
I spent the longest time at the library for my last assignment to graduate from the university. And never again since then. Reading was not a hype thing when I was in college.
Not until Murphy’s Library caught my attention, it’s love at first sight. It is a public library with a two-story building in the park, facing the creek and surrounded by trees.
The collection of books is just right. And if the book you’re looking for is not there, the friendly librarian can assist in searching and relocating from other libraries.
The second floor is where the activities are held, book club, children's storytelling, craftmanship class, and meditation class. The most fun part is, the book sales! It has an interesting collection of used books at rock-bottom prices. I found some precious gems of secondhand books!

This fall, I like enjoying solitude at the second-floor library for a free strong internet connection. The room is equipped with desks and comfy chairs, it is spacious with big windows letting the sunbeam light and warm the room. Being in a room surrounded by books gives me a nice feeling.

Encountering different places with their approaches to daily life keeps giving me room to learn more about life. It might look simple, yet the experience is uniquely mine and adds layers to my personal growth enrichment. This time is the library and its treasures!
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
