GIVE AND TAKE.
A lot of things have been happening around the globe and you will be wondering "what is really happening?, why is life like this?" especially when someone pass on and you will be stocked with so many thoughts in your head with a lot of things running through your minds. So I want to give you all bulbers a little article about life being a "Give and take".
This life is a life of give-and-take or take-and-give. Anyhow you may want to look at it, giving and taking/receiving is part and parcel of this life.
For those that have seen deep enough into life on time to notice this pattern of interaction, they must have taken caution regarding the type of gifts or free services they accept especially the nature of the givers in view as well as the circumstances surrounding the transaction.
Yes! Transaction I call it. I have seen many people render a free service or goodwill service all in the guise of future expectations. I have seen many guys soften the land of their female targets by giving alongside the so-called “being there for them” service while in the real sense, they were expecting to get them committed, do a favour as a form of pay back or go overboard by granting them access to their drawers, and so on.
I have also seen our female counterparts manipulate their male targets by rendering some over-the-board services all in the guise of wanting something later, or planting seeds they anticipate reaping harvests from. I have seen and heard of privileged people who strategically give helping hands to some perceived less privileged who cannot easily refuse the masqueraded acts of philanthropy or pay back if things go south,, all with the sole aim of getting them ready to do what they want when the time comes.
The instances go on. The give-and-take aspect of life is not entirely as bad as it may seem. It seems to be part of the original design of our Maker. God Almighty created the world and we, his creations have to give back to him too. Talk of tithes, offerings and kingdom investments. The other side of giving back to God is giving to humanity out of sincere love but in this case, we do not expect anything from the receivers. God himself is the rewarder.
There you have it. Whatever scenario you may find yourself, be on guard to not commit yourself to an unknown cause unknowingly. The schemers out there are very crafty and will always be in the neighbourhood. Stay vigilant and contented with what you have, while going for the extras you desire. And as for giving to others, treat others the way you would want to be treated in similar situations.
