Those which enter the computer and affect the functioning of the computer are called viruses. In simple words, a computer virus is a harmful software program which destroys the data of the computer badly.

Once the virus enters the computer, it automatically spreads throughout the computer and corrupts all the programs present in the computer. The job of the virus is to steal the computer's data, damage the data and modify the data. The virus has the ability to generate its own copy due to which it spreads easily from one computer to another.

A virus is a malicious program that damages the computer's data. It works to erase or spoil the computer data. The virus is a program written intentionally. It attaches itself to the computer's boot and the more the computer boots, the more the virus spreads. Strange icons may have appeared on your desktop or system tray, even though you have not installed any such software. When clicked, they quickly open pornographic websites.

Some folders appear on any drive or desktop of your computer which you did not create. There are some files inside them which were neither created by you nor were they created by the installation of any software. Apart from this, even after deleting them, they appear again after some time.
