⚡️ Underrated Crypto Narratives:
The strongest bets I’ve made in crypto are projects I can get behind, hold and let ride are the ones solving real world problems, have strong teams, tech and funding.
Why? Because they continue to build, solve the problem and grow over time.
Now, all projects are also businesses that need to be successfully run, which is no easy feat, let alone in a new sector. And that is where the risks come in.
For example: I’ve been holding Akash $AKASH for over 3 years now and finally seeing it pump.
It was easier to hold because the above boxes were ticked in my research.
No one was talking about GPU or cloud storage as a hot public narrative, yet the use cases made sense as they solve problems at scale. And as tech progresses, would only be more valuable.
Of course there was a chance that Akash wouldn’t survive the bear market, so I followed its progress. But thankfully it did.
I’m saying all of this to not say ‘quick find the next hot narrative!’ Or just ‘buy low and hold’.
I’m saying this to say (and forgive me sounding like a broken record for years here): Think of blockchain as the new version of the internet. Because it is.
Whatever already exists on the internet or in the real world can either be replaced, fixed or optimized with blockchain tech. Including AI for better and worse.
So when researching anything, that’s the lens I look through. I also find those projects attract long term holders as well who see the same opportunity in the use case and problems to be solved.
Real Estate,
DePIN: (Eg. decentralized internet, decentralized phones, cloud storage etc etc)
Real world tokenization
DeSci
Data storage and security
Data transfer
Cloud storage
Etc etc.
These narratives don’t sound nearly as sexy as gaming or AI, but they underpin global infrastructure, AI and our every day lives.
The opportunities are clear. So- Are there companies doing it well, for real, and ticking the right boxes?
