"Mushrooms are a part of a healthy and balanced intestinal flora. However, when these mushrooms multiply and disrupt the balance, they can cause various complaints.
Experts note that intestinal fungi can lead to different clinical pictures.
CANDIDA - CANDIDA FUNGUS
To define the Candida fungus, it's a part of a healthy intestinal system. Beneficial and harmful microorganisms in the intestines live in balance. When this balance is disrupted, beneficial microorganisms decrease over time, and Candida fungus starts to proliferate excessively, becoming dangerous. The decrease in beneficial bacteria paves the way for the formation of diseases. Additionally, as Candida fungus multiplies, intestinal permeability increases. As a result, substances that need to be expelled from the intestines and are harmful to the body easily pass into the body, causing various diseases. In individuals with increased amounts of Candida fungus, resistant fatigue and digestive complaints typically emerge first.
HOW DOES CANDIDA FUNGUS INFECTION OCCUR IN THE INTESTINES?
For digestion to proceed as smoothly as possible, the body relies not only on the activities of the stomach and intestines but also on the numerous microorganisms present in the large intestine that help break down food components. Bacteria constitute the majority of these microorganisms and spread throughout the mucous membrane. They metabolize substances that are no longer useful to the body (such as fiber). Additionally, fungi and single-celled organisms are also part of the intestinal flora, although their numbers are not as high.
These irregularities in the intestinal system can have widespread effects. If there are fewer beneficial bacteria (due to the intake of certain medications), fungi suddenly take over the intestines to spread. This condition is referred to as intestinal fungus.
YEAST FUNGUS "CANDIDA ALBICANS" IS USUALLY "GUILTY":
Candida Albicans often develops unnoticed in the mucous membranes of many individuals, but negative effects only manifest when it spreads uncontrollably. This fungus can cause a variety of symptoms. For example, Candida fungus metabolizes sugary foods and causes bloating due to producing large amounts of gas.
SYMPTOMS OF CANDIDA FUNGUS
In individuals with Candida fungus infection in their intestines, the breakdown and digestion of food do not progress as usual.
