CoNet is a network that uses OpenPGP Key ID instead of IP addresses to connect nodes. This makes it more secure and private than a standard Internet connection. The nodes use the IMAP protocol to send and receive encrypted data, creating a virtual-internet tunnel that’s safe from outside interference. This design makes it hard for hackers or government agencies to monitor or control the traffic on the network.
CoNet is on a mission to;
1. Find a way around the walls and watchful eyes that are blocking and monitoring our access to the Internet.
2. Protect users from online threats by making them anonymous and invisible to the tools currently used to track them.
3. Help users to access the Internet freely, without restrictions or filters imposed by governments or third parties.
4. Protect users’ servers from being overwhelmed by distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
5. Give users the freedom to access the Internet anonymously, without restrictions or limitations. This new and innovative approach allows users to experience the Internet as it was meant to be.
