Don't judge people by their clothes

The bank was very crowded that day. There was a long queue of people at the cash counter. An old lady was also standing in that queue waiting for her turn to come. She looked like a very simple lady with her appearance and clothes. The bag of vegetables in her hand was indicating that she had come to the bank after buying vegetables from the market.
After waiting for a long time, when his turn came, he said to the cashier lady sitting at the cash counter, “Madam, I want to withdraw Rs 500 from my account.”
Hearing a small amount like Rs 500, the lady sitting at the cash counter got a little irritated and looking at the old lady with a contemptuous look, said, "Why are you standing in line for Rs 500? Only an amount of more than Rs 5000 will be withdrawn here. If you want to withdraw less than that, then withdraw from the ATM.
After a long wait it was the turn of the old lady, she pleaded and said, “Madam, I have forgotten my ATM card at home. Had left for the market. Now money is needed. I have been standing in line for a long time. Please help me and give me 500 rupees by withdrawing from my account.
"The rule is like that. We cannot give an amount less than Rs 5000. Now go from here. Do not waste my time." The cashier replied coldly.
Seeing this behavior of the cashier, the old lady said, "Okay. If the rule is like this, then give me all the money I have in my account, after taking it out.
"Ok." In some annoyance, the cashier spoke and started checking the account of the elderly woman. But seeing the amount deposited in the account, his senses were blown away. 2500 crores were in the account of the elderly woman. It was not possible for the bank to give that much money at that time.
The cashier softened his voice and addressed the old lady with a respectful word, "Ma'am! Cash is not available in the bank at this time as much as you have in your account. So at this time we will not be able to give you that much money. Please give us some time. We will inform you after arranging the cash. Then you will come and withdraw all the money."
"It's like that, then tell me how much money you can give me now." The old lady asked.
After calculating the cashier said, "Ma'am! Now I can give you Rs 25 lakh."
"Okay, then give me 25 lakh rupees by withdrawing it."
The cashier took out Rs 25 lakh from the account and gave it to the old lady with full respect. The old lady took those money and kept only 500 rupees of them with her. Returning the rest of the money to the cashier, she said, "Now deposit this money back in my account."
The cashier was stunned. She couldn't say anything. He put the rest of the money in the account of the old lady.
Lesson - Many times in our life we are in a hurry to judge people and judge them by their appearance, gestures, clothes. Then deal with them accordingly. Many times the reality is different from our thinking or assessment and in such a situation, we feel ashamed of our behavior when the reality comes to the fore. Not everyone believes in outward appearances in life. Many people like to live a simple life. They cannot be judged in one visit. So don't make the mistake of judging people on the basis of external personality in a meeting.
