Starknet Airdrop: What You Need to Know

In a bold move, the Starknet Foundation has declared its intention to distribute a staggering 1.8 billion Stark Tokens (STRK) as rewards and discounts to users. This distribution serves as a testament to the foundation’s commitment to rewarding the vibrant community that contributes to Starknet’s growth. Approximately 900 million STRK tokens have already been set aside to recognize and incentivize users and community members for their past and future contributions.
To manage this ambitious distribution, the Starknet Foundation will establish various committees. The “collateral committee” will focus on rewarding users and community members, providing not only rewards but also “user discounts” to offset or reimburse transaction costs. Meanwhile, the “DeFi committee” will play a crucial role in enhancing liquidity within the DeFi ecosystem.

Starknet token initial allocation overview

A total of ten billion Starknet tokens have been minted off-chain by StarkWare. It is essential to clarify that these tokens do not represent any equity in StarkWare, nor do they confer any participation rights or claims from StarkWare. The circulating supply of tokens will dynamically increase over time through the protocol’s minting of new tokens, following a schedule determined by the community at a later stage, signifying that the circulating supply may not remain fixed.
To ensure the alignment of long-term incentives, Core Contributors and Investors’ tokens will be subject to a 4-year lock-up period, featuring a linear release and a one-year cliff. This practice is in line with common standards in decentralized ecosystems.

The Starknet Pro Score is a detailed transaction tracker for Starknet’s ecosystem. It analyzes your dApp interactions, focusing on:

Diversity of Engagement: The variety of dApp Gallery protocols you’ve interacted with.
Transaction Volume: The total number of transactions you’ve executed.
Consistency of Interaction: The duration of your monthly continuous interactions with different protocols.

The score reflects the most relevant and valuable transactions for users, based on on-chain contract interactions.

How is your Starknet Pro Score calculated?

Here is the formula (this formula is subject to change in the future as Starknet ecosystem matures):
Starknet Pro Score = (O + E + T)/3
Now, let’s break it down so you understand what O, E and T stand for:
O represents the number of protocols the user has interacted with out of the total available in the dApp Gallery.
E stands for Engagement, measured by the frequency of transactions executed by the account on Starknet.
T represents Transactions Over Time, calculated based on transactions conducted over N distinct months.
The measurement focuses on the longest sequence of consecutive months, within the past 12 months, where the user performed at least one transaction. The percentage value for each duration is as follows:
