Donald Trump Holds Over $1 Million in Ethereum
According to public election records, former President Donald Trump currently owns between $1 million and $5 million worth of Ethereum, in addition to a significant amount of NFT licensing fees.
According to the latest election records, White House candidate Donald Trump currently owns between $1 million and $5 million worth of Ethereum. He also has a “significant amount” of NFT licensing fees.
As reported, the former President is preparing to release his fourth NFT collection, as previous collections have been very successful and often sold out within a day, so “people want more.”
The handling of NFT sales is not done directly by Trump, but by a partnership company acting on his behalf. Therefore, Trump will receive royalties from these NFTs.
Indeed, according to the filing, Trump earned $7.15 million through a licensing agreement with a company called NFT INT. Meanwhile, former First Lady Melania Trump earned $330,609 from selling NFTs.
Mrs. Trump first released NFTs on Solana in December 2021, then continued to launch another set of NFTs to celebrate the US Independence Day on July 4, 2023. But of course, her appeal is "far less" than that of her former husband, so the income from selling NFTs is also much more modest.
In addition to NFTs, the community is most interested in Trump's Ethereum holdings. Although the filing does not state a specific amount, according to Arkham Intelligence, the amount of crypto assets in the billionaire's wallet is up to $3.6 million, including $1.3 million in ETH.
That is Trump's own "pocket money". According to the election campaign, Trump raised $4 million in crypto donations before the Bitcoin 2024 Conference.
After that, thanks to his impressive speech at the Conference, he raised $21 million, contributed mainly by organizations and "whales" in the crypto field.
However, the crypto community was "shocked" when Trump and Elon Musk did not mention the keyword crypto or cryptocurrency in the recent conversation on X. This caused the memecoins following Trump to drop sharply, despite all "setting up columns" before the interview.
Currently, the election betting rate on Polymarket shows that the prediction of Trump's victory has gradually decreased, only 44% compared to 54% for his opponent Kamala Harris. However, there is still time and the community is still full of hope that Trump will be able to "turn the game around".
