Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Anthony Joshua, thinks Tyson Fury can still cancel their December 3 all-British superfight.
Hearn made clear the status of the "Battle of Britain" negotiations. Joshua is anxious to face the Gypsy King because he fears that if he misses this chance, he may never get another to face Fury. The battle, which is slated to take place at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, is still being discussed.
Hearn commented on the current situation, saying, "We've accepted the parameters in principle; the agreement doesn't have a lot more to say.
The broadcasters, including BT and DAZN, must band together to make that happen; according to all of them, splitting the pay per view is not a problem. So, I do believe that all will work out. I believe that with Fury, you just can't be sure. He might now decide he doesn't want to fight this year or decide to retire once more. However, is this just a ruse to convince the Saudis to pay more money to bring in Usyk?
"I'm not sure. However, all I have to rely on is what George Warren has informed me, which is that they are 100 percent in favor of this war. Hearn said that anything is conceivable because of Fury's unpredictable personality.
I don't know if this guy is for real because you just never do, he continued. But AJ responded, "Well, first off, I want the fight, and second, let's find out if he's not for genuine. Therefore, in my opinion, Anthony played it really well. "We're fighting if the contract is as they stated it would be." AJ appears to have accepted the battle even if Fury decides not to engage in it, even though things didn't go as planned.
"He does want the fight, but he just felt that if he doesn't accept it now, he might not think he will get the fight again."
