The World Happiness Report is a report published by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) every year that ranks the countries of the world according to their citizens' levels of happiness. The report takes into account 15 different factors to determine citizens' life satisfaction, including GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and trust.


According to the 2023 World Happiness Report, the 10 unhappiest countries in the world are as follows:
