Hi everyone,
In the previous article, I explained the differences between 4g and 5g in mobile devices. Now I offer a general perspective
I am publishing an article on what 2G, 3G and 4G are in our mobile devices
2G (2nd Generation):
- Purpose: Primarily used for voice communication.
- Features: It has low data speeds and supports basic mobile communication services like text messaging (SMS) and voice calls.
3G (3rd Generation):
- Purpose: Integrates voice and data communication, offering higher data speeds.
- Features: Supports features such as video calls, high-speed internet access, and broadband data transmission. It facilitates the widespread use of mobile internet.
4G (4th Generation):
- Purpose: Provides even higher data speeds, lower latency, and improved broadband features.
- Features: Offers advantages such as high-speed data download and upload, better voice quality, and the ability to run high-performance applications. The 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution) technology is a prominent example of this generation.
These technologies have evolved to enhance the communication capabilities of mobile devices, providing users with a better overall experience. Today, advanced versions like 4G and 4.5G are commonly used, and the transition to new-generation technologies such as 5G continues.
