1899: the series

So in my quest to have a good day and enjoy my weekend, I decided to binge-watch a Netflix show and I chose the newly added series 1899.
Truth be told, I found it quite challenging to grasp what the movie  is all about as it is complex and mind-boggling, but as a Christopher Nolan fan, I am used to these type of mind games played by movie directors on me.
Two or three episodes in, I start to get the concept of the movie. It is set in...guess when? 1899, where a ship  carrying different people from different countries of the world gets in contact with an abandoned ship on sea and strange and paranormal events roll out soon after.

My Review : For the sake of spoilers, i won't say much, but the movie does good in adopting the languages of different countries. Shows how well grounded the team of directors and research the  script writer put in to make that work.
Make no mistake, it is not a horror movie (for those who are scared of those). More of suspense-filled, witty and yes...mind-boggling.
