Temitope, the one I fit tease and go scott free.
Tope is as calm as a river that found peace. She carries herself with such a grace that can calm your nerves if you had a bad day. And she appears to be always unbothered by the discomforts of this world; but even at that, her kind of person is worthy of the best of luxuries this lifetime has to give.
Na Temitope I fit worry and go scott free oh. She somehow receives my joke in good faith and return a positive energy. One evening, I chanced upon a scorpion which I gallantly slayed and guess who I bragged to first....... the forgiving Temitope.
"Temitope, come and see the scorpion I just trampled upon like the Bible says I would. I now have a new name, Joel Salvation The Dragon Slayer."
And of course, she argued back.
"na scorpion you kill oh, no be dragon."
"the Bible says I will trample on snakes, scorpions, lions and dragons. All of them na dragons; Salvation The Dragon Slayer."
The rest is history.
My name for Temitope is "Happy Girl" because happiness is found in her even when things appear to be generally going south. And I'm grateful for crossing paths with her. God bless her lovely heart more.
