Cellulite and fat loss
What is the Cellulite?
Fat is actually a connective tissue called adipose tissue that is located almost everywhere in the body. This is composed of adipocytes (adipose/fat cells) responsible for storing energy in the form of lipids (“fats”). These cells have the ability to increase their sizes as well as their numbers.
🔦 Too abundant storage of these fats will therefore multiply the number and increase the size of these cells, creating compression of the blood capillaries present there, preventing the evacuation of toxins. An accumulation of waste then appears in the fabric. The consequence of this phenomenon is the appearance of what we call cellulite.
🔍 It mainly affects women and ALL women (yes even those who don't appear there). However, poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, hormonal disorders and other causes amplify its formation.
💡It is therefore possible to reduce this unwanted effect of orange peel skin by having a healthy diet and practicing sporting activity.
We see most people wanting to lose fat mass rushing to cardio machines. But this is not the one and only solution.🔦 This practice will actually allow significant energy expenditure and promote the loss of fat mass. However, it also causes loss of lean mass; the muscle.
🔍 Poly-joint movements, by definition, are movements involving several joints and therefore several muscle groups (squats, lunges, pull-ups, etc.). And who says a large number of muscles used, says a lot of energy expenditure and calories burned. In addition, unlike cardio, multi-joint movements allow you to build more muscle.
💡 The best compromise is therefore to alternate your training between cardio machines and muscular work on poly-articular movements.
