Birthing is a wonderful process on its own; a 2.7kg baby passes through a small passage that grows from 2cm to 8cm just to accommodate the baby and enable its entrance into our earth life. During its uterine life, the fetus gets its nutrients and oxygen from its mother via the placenta. After birth, the baby is separated from the placenta by severing the umbilical cord, the benevolent bridge linking both.

Every woman knows the pain and joys of giving birth to a baby. Some mothers have died during labour and others after delivering a baby. Blessed are all women for accepting this nurturing role to perpetuating the human species.
