So in a case where there has been a history of a particular illness in the parent's family, there is every possibility that it may affect one of the individuals. For example, Diabetes, Diabetes is said to be hereditary as it can be passed from parent to offspring. So in a situation where a parent is suffering from diabetes, it can be passed on to a child, and if not properly monitored or controlled, could be life threatening.
Physical environment
We may also know that our health also depends on the environment in which we find ourselves. There are some areas that are known to be not conducive for human beings to live in as they could cause different kind of illnesses. For example, living near refineries could be harmful to the health because of the air pollution that happens around those areas in the process of refining raw materials. People don't live close to crude oil refineries because the air around there is usually polluted with gaseous substances which is harmful to the health and could cause breathing problems, lung issues etc.
Social environment
Sometimes we tend to find ourselves in toxic environments and this is not good for the mental well-being of an individual. For example, You might know a group of people that are toxic and are always causing you to have breakdowns or overthink. This could in some cases cause a high blood pressure, or even a heart attack. So in this cases, it is advisable to detach yourself from those kind of people for your mental well-being.
Workplace
Sometimes, we might take on really strenous activities just for the purpose of trying to live a comfortable life. In this case, we might tend to overwork ourselves, or even do a work that our bodies are not cut out for. This could lead to physical injuries in most cases. For example, you are working on a construction site, and you can't lift up a block, but then you try to do it and end up causing physical injury for yourself in the process. So it is advisable to do what we know our bodies won't have any problem doing.
