Good Morning Bulb Family!

Greetings, everyone!

Introduction

First, let me apologize for being late today. I’m not feeling well, and I think I might have caught a cold. Isn’t it ironic? Jawad has a cold. It could be the best joke on the internet today! But please, no need to search for memes about it.

Despite feeling sick, I believe the show must go on. So, even though I’m under the weather, I’m here to deliver today’s topic. Shall we begin?

Note: This article is also published on my read.cash account.

Now, I think it's time to delve into today's topic. But before I begin, if you haven't checked out my previous articles, I encourage you to do so.

Finding True Happiness.

Don't Let Your Soul Dry Out

Does this sound new to you? Yes, it might. But if you don't understand, let me explain. We live our lives in a routine that begins in the morning and ends at night. This is our daily grind. We seldom think about trying new things or exploring the world. We’re content with being busy with our jobs, and one day, our lives end in death. That's the summary of our existence. It's like a new leaf growing old and falling to the ground. Are we genuinely interested in this? Don't we desire happiness from something new? Let's delve into the facts.

Dry Leaf Theory

You’re likely familiar with this concept. But I want you to reconsider it. When a dry leaf falls from a tree, it doesn't immediately blend into the soil. It stays on the ground for a few days, sometimes weeks or even months, before finally decomposing. During this period, the leaf remains grounded, unnoticed by anyone. The leaf waits for its end while observing the new leaves on the trees. This is the essence of the dry leaf theory.
We lead our lives similarly. Reflect on your own life. You were so joyful in your childhood, but now, in your prime, you are waiting for the end while going through the motions of your daily jobs and activities. You are experiencing the dry leaf theory in your life.

Your Soul Is Drying Slowly

It sounds strange, right? But it's true. Maybe your soul is drying out, like a green leaf turning yellow before becoming dry. This doesn't happen overnight; it’s a gradual process. What’s odd is that you can feel the dryness but don’t take steps to recover. You just let it happen. Eventually, your soul gives up, and the dry leaf effect starts, leaving you with scratches like a dry pond.

The Reason For This

The reason is simple. You’ve stopped listening to your soul. Perhaps you started listening to others. Unwillingly, you do things that make no sense to you, just to please others. This is how the process starts. You end up compromising your soul's happiness for the sake of others. This leads to a disconnection from your true self, causing your soul to stop enjoying life. You grow old before your time.

The Solution

When winter comes and our skin starts to dry, we use petroleum jelly. No, I’m not suggesting that for your soul, but you can apply a similar concept. You need to rediscover your happiness. Find out what truly makes you happy. Stop pretending to be someone you’re not. Stop pleasing others if it's unnecessary. Avoid people who use you for their own purposes and then forget about you. Stop doing things that add no value to your life. You need to rejuvenate your life. Focus on yourself. Prioritize your needs. Seek out moments that let your soul feel alive. You can do this. Your soul needs freedom. Don't let it dry out. You will be forever grateful to yourself if you do.

Ending Thoughts

This is your life. Do whatever you want. People might call you crazy or deem your actions madness, but for once, do something for your own benefit. Only you can revive your drying soul. The dry leaf effect is detrimental. Many people have already given up and ended their lives with low expectations. Don’t let that happen to your soul too.

Until we meet again, stay curious, stay connected, and above all, stay true to yourself.
