Alot of people spend so much time on their screen and when you take a look at their screen time you realize that they spend more time on unproductive Apps than productive Apps.
So many people have tried several times to reduce their screen time and to no avail. I am going to share a few tips on how to reduce your screen time from 10 hours to 4 hours.
4 Tips on how to reduce your screen time.
- Delete the Apps that you spend more time on: You should consider deleting the unproductive apps you spend more time on. At first it may seem really difficult but if you can discipline yourself and get through it with for atleast 1 month, you will realize that when you go back to these apps, you will not find it interesting or appealing to stay so you end up leaving and not spending much time there.
- Set up at least 3 tasks you must complete daily: This will help you create discipline. if you make sure you stick to doing something for a while, it becomes part of you. Your task could be 1 hour exercise, 20 minutes meditation and 20 minutes reading. what ever works for you.
- Turn off your notifications: When you turn off your notifications for your social media accounts, you will be able to check these notifications at your own timing. Focus mood is actually a good idea for this.
- Do not work and study in the same room as your phone: This is an essential tip, except it is important or you work with your phone, you shouldnt work and study in the same room as your phone to avoid distractions and being tempted to hop on your phone for a bit.
- Pick up hobbies that do not include your phone: If you pick up hobbies that do not include your phone, it will help you stay away from your phone. Hobbies like reading physical books, cycling, swimming and lots more.
