Is Original Content Dead on Bulb ALREADY?

Fellow Bulb writers, it’s time we address the elephant in the room – or should I say, the copy & paste articles flooding our platform. It seems like everywhere we turn, there’s another account blatantly plagiarizing content from external sites.

And let’s face it, it’s a real buzzkill for those of us trying to produce original, quality work. I mean, seriously, how are we supposed to compete with someone who just Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V the latest breaking news? It’s like trying to win a marathon with your shoelaces tied together – an uphill battle, to say the least.

But here’s the kicker – these cheaters are not only getting away with it, they’re actually being rewarded for their lazy behavior. The algorithms seem to have a soft spot for what they perceive as “professional” content, completely ignoring the fact that it’s nothing more than digital theft. It’s like the algorithms have been sipping on some questionable algorithmic Kool-Aid.

So, where does that leave us, the honest-to-goodness writers who pour our hearts and souls into creating original content? Are we just supposed to sit back and watch our hard work get overshadowed by someone else’s copy & paste job? I don’t know about you, but personally, it’s frustrating to see our organic content take a backseat to these imposters. Publish0x exists, Medium.com exists, plenty more that actually incentivize creativity and catch plagiarism and obvious AI content in a minute.

so what do we do? Well for starters, we can continue to voice our concerns and shed light on this growing issue. We can support and promote each other’s original work, showing the world that there’s still value in authentic content. I think most importantly pressuring Bulb mods to secure the issue of people abusing the system. Because this isn’t the only write-to-earn platform…. It’s just the easiest to cheat on its turning out to be…

Stay witty, stay original, and most importantly, remember not to put all your eggs in one basket (or platform) my friends

-Nico.
