In a situation where multiple bridge projects (Orbiter, Polyhedera, Debridge) have announced token airdrops, Wormhole Bridge, which I am introducing, is the only one that has not disclosed plans for token issuance and airdrops.

Why is this important??
In fact, Wormhole Bridge had a significant presence in the Solana ecosystem. However, a major incident occurred where approximately $320 million worth of wETH was hacked. Even now, the prominent VC firm Jump Crypto is known to have attempted to salvage the Wormhole project by reimbursing the hacked amount, with the project ending up serving its purpose as a bridge in one way or another.

However, recently, Wormhole Bridge made an official announcement on its official website, stating that it has received a $225 million investment with a valuation of $2.5B. If the project was previously managed by Jump Crypto, it now indicates that the foundation intends to proceed with the project independently with the received investment.

Furthermore, the method to participate in the airdrop is quite complex. Given the nature of the bridge, it involves moving back and forth between multiple chains, which may deter users who have recently entered the crypto world due to its complexity compared to previous airdrop participation methods. We might seize this opportunity to anticipate higher profits.

But there’s still no mention of an airdrop, right?
“Yes… But!!”

Neither StarkNet nor zkSync has made any airdrop announcements. We’re just speculating that Wormhole Bridge might follow the same practice as before, where tokens are distributed based on user project contributions when they are released.
