Exploring GameFi: An Insight into $VOXEL Token

GameFi, a trending topic gaining momentum by the day, has caught my attention. I realized that apart from holding $CROWN, I didn't possess any other GameFi tokens, considering $CROWN itself largely falls into the Betting category.

Hence, I decided to add $VOXEL by @VoxieTactics to my portfolio on Binance.
Delving into the details:

🟢 Despite being listed on major exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Huobi, its Market Cap (MC) stands at 20 million dollars with a Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) of 50 million dollars.

🟢 Voxie Tactics is fully playable, with over 17 million matches played to date. You can download and play the game for free from their website.

🟢 In-game item trading, sales, and upgrades are facilitated using $VOXEL within the game's Marketplace.

🟢 The project, originating from Binance Launchpad, hit an all-time low (ATL) of $0.12 three months ago, and currently trades around $0.24. Although its ATH (All-Time High) reached $4.70, considering only 40% of the tokens are in circulation, I don't heavily weigh this figure. During its ATH in January 2022, its MC was reportedly 100 million dollars, a factor that could be considered for setting future targets. However, during that time, there were no games or market presence, and it was a period of market downturn. Therefore, I speculate the price could surpass this figure in a bullish market.

🔴 The distribution of $VOXEL tokens to winners in the game doesn't entirely resonate with me. Yet, I don't dwell on this aspect too much, especially given the success of $SLP, the reward token of @AxieInfinity. Although $VOXEL might have certain disadvantages compared to $SLP, it still echoes the significance of $AXS within in-game economies.

In summary, while I personally prefer acquiring hidden gems on DEX platforms, I made this investment due to the substantial volume on larger exchanges driven by retail traders, its low MCAP, and alignment with the GameFi narrative. This is not investment advice.
