The decentralized web, or Web 3.0, promises to revolutionize the way we interact with data, applications, and each other. However, one of the main challenges facing Web 3.0 is how to securely and efficiently access and deliver data from the real world to the blockchain, and vice versa. This is where oracles come in.

Oracles are middleware that connect blockchains with external systems, such as data providers, cloud services, IoT devices, and payment systems. They enable smart contracts to use data from the real world to execute agreements or commands, such as determining the outcome of insurance policies, settling financial payments, releasing or receiving payments, and more.

However, centralized and third-party oracles are not compatible with the blockchain technology and the decentralization values. External data is not deterministic and not fully synchronized, which makes it extremely difficult to reach consensus among nodes. Moreover, the risk associated with direct access to an insecure external environment is too high for many. This is what is commonly referred to as the Oracle Problem.

RedStone is a novel oracle solution that aims to solve the Oracle Problem by providing modular, fast, cost-efficient, and versatile data delivery for Web 3.0. RedStone leverages the power of Arweave, a decentralized storage network, to store and deliver data packages that are signed by trusted data providers. RedStone also supports cross-chain compatibility, allowing data consumption on any EVM-compatible chain, including ZK and Optimistic L2s, plus roll-ups as a service.

RedStone offers three oracle models tailored to the needs of different dApps, with cryptographic security guarantees: - RedStone Core (Pull): The lowest gas costs, a few seconds of latency, dApp users deliver signed data packages on demand to the destination chain. - RedStone Classic (Push): Compatible with traditional oracles, dApp gets full control over data source and update conditions (heartbeat and deviation threshold). - RedStone X (Zero-latency): Front-running proof, tailored for sophisticated protocols like Perps & Options, based on GMX design.

RedStone has already integrated with many notable protocols in the DeFi and LST space, such as Aave, Swell Network, Stader ETHx, Sommelier, Gravita, Stakewise, EtherFi, and more. RedStone has also undergone multiple audits by top-tier experts in blockchain security, such as ABDK Consulting and Audit One. RedStone is backed by top-class investors and angels, such as Stani Kulechov (Aave & Lens Founder), Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon Co-Founder), Alex Gluchovski (zkSync Co-Founder), Emin Gün Sirer (Avalanche Co-Founder), Coinflipcanada (GMX Contributor), Richard Ma (Quantstamp CEO), and more.

RedStone is the future of data delivery for Web 3.0, enabling new protocols to access more data at lower latency, and fostering collaboration and innovation in the decentralized web.
