Fuji Credit: Revolutionizing DeFi on Solana

We’re thrilled to announce the public beta of Fuji Credit and the issuance of Fuji USD (FUSD), a stablecoin backed by Solana assets.
After introducing Fuji Credit, we’ve received incredible support, with users signing up for the private beta program. Your feedback has been instrumental in refining the protocol and shaping our roadmap.

🗻 What is Fuji Credit?

Fuji Credit is a decentralized, non-custodial borrowing protocol built on the Solana blockchain. It allows users to borrow against Solana-based assets as collateral, securely locked in smart contracts called Safes.
Loans are issued in FUSD – an over-collateralized stablecoin pegged to USD, backed by Solana assets, ensuring stability and security.

👩‍🏫 How Does Fuji Credit Work?

The Fuji Credit protocol enables the minting and burning of synthetic assets backed by collateral. The value of the minted stablecoin (FUSD) is tied to a reference price index, ensuring price stability.
Here’s how Fuji Credit operates:

  • Borrowers lock Solana-based assets into Safes to mint Fuji USD (FUSD).
  • Liquidators help maintain the system’s stability by ensuring that underwater Safes are properly liquidated.
  • The Treasury manages the issuance and re-issuance of tokens while collecting minting fees.

🚀 When is the Launch?

The token of Fuji Credit is launching in just a few days! 🔥
At launch, users will be able to:
Buy FUSD by locking Solana assets (such as SOL) as collateral.
Redeem collateral by burning FUSD.
Adjust collateral levels as needed.
Users will have access to various Safes offered by the Treasury.
📢 The official launch date will be announced exclusively on our X account. Stay tuned and turn on notifications so you don’t miss it! 🔔
