Hello BULBers, It’s Month in Review Time!

June 2023 has been a month of brainstorming and building…

We have been busy building a bunch of new features and also planning out our next set of huge feature releases. We know that new and exciting features get the community of BULBers fired up, so we are going to continue doing just that.

There’s a few things to unpack here… let’s get into it! 

New BULB Features and Updates

Firstly, BULB finally adds integration support for Solflare Wallet and It’s about time…

New Sign In / Sign Up Page

Users can now choose to login with either their Phantom or Solflare Wallet. If you strongly feel like we should support a particular wallet in the Solana ecosystem, let us know in the comments below as the team are always looking for better ways to improve user experience within the Solana ecosystem. 

Secondly, weekly challenges are now live! 

Weekly Challenges Under My Profile

You can now complete a series of challenges every week to earn extra points and boost your leaderboard ranking. For many of BULB’s users, this is already a daily routine, and so it’s important that you receive an extra reward for all your ongoing contributions to the platform. Besides, we are curious to see which user will be able to reach a streak of 10 first (i.e. complete the task for 10 weeks straight) for all of these 6 challenges…we will have something special in store for the first user that reaches this feat!

Last but not least, we have released a small improvement to the reward system where a referring user will earn 1,000 BULB Tokens instantly as soon as someone creates an account on BULB using their link. No more “see if the user completes a read, react and comment”, we just want to make it more simple for you to invite your friends into the community.

Our Next Big Feature: BULB AI

So the BULB Team has got together and thought a lot about what BULB AI should look like and how it should be delivered to our users to enhance user experience. Here is what you can look forward to…

We imagine BULB AI to be your co-pilot on the platform, lifting your writing and reading game to the next level. We do not intend for BULB AI to replace writers and readers, as we firmly believe that there is no replacement for genuine human creativity.BULB AI should be a viewed as a virtual assistant who is intelligent, enthusiastic and supportive to BULBers with the sole purpose to help you create amazing content and enhance the experience for your audience.

BULB AI Assistant Prototype

This is a prototype of the BULB AI persona, a BULBmoji with a robot-like look. BULB AI will be released in stages where the very first generation will focus on levelling up the writing experience, then the reading experience, and finally the platform as a whole. 

In 3Q 2023, we will provide an update on what the first generation BULB AI will do for writers in the future. It’s very exciting so be sure to stay tuned…

BULBers, We Need Your Help…

That was all the product side of things, now onto growth & marketing…

In May, we were at 1,681 users, now the community is closing in on 1,800. We want to thank everyone in the community for making this growth to date possible. We know that many of you are big BULB advocates, and we constantly see those important social media shoutouts. We really appreciate the support and would strongly encourage everyone to keep it up and get the word out. The more BULBers in our community, the more valuable this platform becomes! 

Latest Leaderboard and Registered Users on BULB

While this is actually very healthy growth, we both need to and can grow faster in order to enable the whole BULB crypto-economy and ensure the success of the platform. We have been trying many different approaches but the common problem we face is that “BULB is too small for me”, and users often opt for larger platforms like Medium or Substack that attract more eyeballs.

Friends, we all know anything that grows to be big, starts small. 

So we want to ask all of you, BULB’s very first believers, opinion leaders and Web3 dreamers two important questions: 

1) What is it about BULB that caught your attention, how did you find out about us?

2) What suggestions do you have to help solve our “chicken and egg” problem and accelerate user growth?
