what is love?' This is a question for which a common answer has not been found till date. Some say that love is friendship, some say that it cannot be expressed in words, it can only be felt. Do not know how many poets have written poems and lyricists have written songs on it over the years, but the views of psychologists around the world are different about love. Let us know about some such psychological facts, which can improve your knowledge about love-

Three stages of love:

According to the famous psychologist Helen Fisher, there are three stages of love – lust, attraction and attachment. The hormones produced in our body play an important role in these three stages. Like sex hormones are responsible for the first stage of love. While testosterone plays the role of sex hormone in men, estrogen is considered a sex hormone in women. Dopamine and norepinephrine hormones play an important role during the second stage of love i.e. attraction. At the same time, in the last stage of love in which a person becomes deeply attached to another person, the role of Oxytocin and Vasopressin hormone becomes very important in this.

love at the first sight:

You must have heard about love at first sight. When you see someone, just fall in love. Scientific research and studies also confirm this. According to a study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine, just a fifth of a second is enough to fall in love with someone.

Couples look alike:

You will be surprised to know, but a survey conducted by famous psychologist Robert Zajonc and his colleagues has found that if a couple has been living with each other for 25 years, then they tend to look somewhat alike. Huh. That is, couples who stay together for a long time start looking alike to a large extent. According to the survey, this is because they observe each other's gestures very closely and gradually copy it.

Love is blind:

You must have often heard people in films saying that love is blind. But do you know the science behind it? According to a study by Harvard Medical School professors and doctors Richard Schwartz and Jacqueline Olds, the feeling of love eliminates fear or any kind of negative feeling from inside you. It deactivates your nerve which is responsible for such feelings so when you start falling in love then your ability to assess or understand anything decreases and you just fall in love live.
