Oh My GODS!

Time flies when others are having fun. But that is a good thing July and August are not my favorite months in the South of Spain. It makes me slow and lazy and that makes it hard to get those 7 games a day in. But I am working on my comeback with an average of 4 at the moment.

Here I was, thinking I am no longer a noob.
Well get ready for my next Noob mistake, because even after playing GU for 18 months I still F it Up Frequently.

I have not been selling a lot lately.
Partly due to not updating my inventory, it´s just to hot to do anything here at the moment.
Partly because it is hot everywhere and peeps prefer playing at the beach as to playing a card game.

Well I have been playing my card games, getting back into the groove since my little dip during my holiday last month.

I was actually doing fine, and then this morning I saw that I sold a 23 Gods card, awesome mo money in my virtual pocket I thought.

Then I was like, but hey wait.... I did only owe one of those so now I need to update my deck with a Meteor version as the Shadow card was sold. But when I checked my deck was still intact.

Hence I started my day, business as usual, busy at work and it took me a couple of hours to wake up to the idea that I might not have sold the card...but bought it!!!

I was saving up!
Planning to sell some of my holdings somewhere in 2025, what...
I made the same mistake as I did in the past with crypto, I put in a buy in the bull market for an ultra-low price and it got filled in a bear market.
I think I bought my first Hollow for 48 GODS, I thought it was a useful card and wanted a second. So I put in a buy for half of that 24 GODS.
And forgot all about it!

Till now that is;
What a rookie mistake, especially with GODS tokens pumping. Because boy did we pump, and I don't know why although I do know that GU had the highest trading NFT thing going on so it might just be that.

The Pump

The pump in GODS value did make me realize that at some point I want to sell my surplus. Now technically you never have a surplus because you always want to buy bigger, faster, and deadlier. But I have to reward myself at some point for diligently playing the game and stacking tokens.

Wen Moon

So I decided to sell 2/3 of my tokens somewhere in 2025 wen moon. Not if, when!
I decided to keep staking them till Jan as I expect us to Peak early, around March 2025.
This might not be as bad as it looks, maybe the card picks up over the next 6 months and I can make a little profit. It´s one of my favorite cards, so I guess I am not the only one wanting it.

But with this market, you never know, I remember Ember Oni. I thought I had a great deal picking it up for 20 when it was 80 just a week or two before. It´s back to 30 but did not come near that 80 ever since.
Anyway, I am gonna have a beer and forget about it. I still have some GODS to sell at least...if I do not have more crazy offers out there, let's check before I have that beer:
That Divine Coronet looks a bit pricy, especially when I see I could have picked it up at 38???
Thank GODS they did not take me up on my offer but listed it, it would have been an even pricier mistake than the one I made today.
Well I have to put in 41 now but that still beats my standing 77 GODS offer, I must have really wanted that card.
I also quickly changed the price on that Desert Mercenary. I might remove the offer entirely next month but for now....I will forget about it.

SHOW Me The Money

When I wanted to check this month's value I got a shock:
Immutable Market is being shut down! And because I am not a fan of change and spending time to figure stuff out again. I tried to find my GODS and ETH balance like I did at the old place, but even after connecting my Metamask, I was unable to find that simple overview of my tokens that I am used to.
I was able to find my inventory and that looked quite okay, but where to go if I want to sell in Jan and the old marketplace gets frozen 6in two weeks time?

Most of you know the answer for sure, but if there any noobs like me you can just go to TokenTrove click on your address top right corner and move those tokens....
But you should never do that, you should always HODL!

GODS only up 18 thanks to not selling anything and my wonderful rookie mistake. That means I gotta work my baby butt of this month to make up for that loss.
But the good news is that GODS basically doubled in value this month, which of course made me think about selling. But my lettuce hands stay in my pockets till I say it´s time.
Oh and if anyone has some Dread suggestions for a Deception deck, that would be absolutely lovely!
