Let’s call a spade, a spade
I simply love (almost) everything in the Web3 space. The builders, the culture, the people
With that said, — plot twist loading — I don’t love the hypocrisy that inhabits this space like a parasite; matter of fact I despise it. Oh, how I despise the self-proclaimed “Crypto Messiahs’”, that don’t add any value to this space — Just a bunch of filler comments, without any valuable inputs — I despise how they “are in it” for the tech; I despise how they are in it for a “fair financial system”; I despise their maximalist mindset; I despise… I don’t even know what I despise anymore; in all honesty, I despise everything about them!
Why not call a spade a spade man?! You are not here for the tech, and you are not here to help anyone implement a new financial system in a 3rd underdeveloped World country, victim of an obsolete, and predatory financial system.
No, you are here for one reason and one reason only: the gains -and that’s okay, as long as you call it, what it is. But admit it, the reason why you didn’t turn your back on Bitcoin or altcoins, is because of the infinite possibilities of making life-changing money that this space provides. You don’t care about narratives of decentralization, self-governance, or freedom, because even though you screamed from the top of your lungs at the “Nirvana” of your greedy hypocritical journey “1 $BTC equals 1 $BTC”, you were focused on that dollar sign, and how much you would cash out as soon as you pressed the “sell” button.
In a way, I really feel sorry for you… On the other, I really feel sorry for myself, because, at the top of my greediness, I too was the same.
