Movementlabs modular structure
Flood about @movementlabsxyz (twitter)
Movement Labs provides a platform for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications and blockchains running on a modular framework. The products that form the basis of this platform are M1 and M2.
WHAT IS M1?
M1 is a Layer 1 blockchain running through the Move programming language Built by @movementlabsxyz
-> Its goal is to deliver the highest possible TPS (Transactions Per Second), offering instant finality, native zero-day access to mass liquidity, and modular customizations.
-> Developed in partnership with Avalabs. It offers builders the ability to leverage major liquidity providers like BenQi and GMX natively through Avalanche Warp Messaging.
-> It is also 100% compatible with existing Aptos Move codes, allowing different Aptos protocols to be launched on Avalanche simultaneously and access liquidity and tools at no additional cost.
WHAT IS M2?
-> M2 is the first Layer 2 blockchain in the community that has similar capabilities to M1 and is ranked by it.
-> It simplifies the process for Sui developers to join the Movement network.
SUMMARY OF MODULAR STRUCTURE:
-> M1 is a Layer 1 blockchain offering high TPS, instant certainty and access to liquidity.
-> M2 is a blockchain with similar capabilities to M1, but located at Layer 2.
-> The Move programming language aims to create a secure and modular structure, focuses on Web3 concepts and ensures interoperability of different modules.
-> Access control is provided by account and module access privileges.
-> MoveVM offers an extensible framework, offering the ability to extend the core MoveVM with additional features on any distribution.
