Overall Performance
We're almost at the end of the first month of Fantom Meme Season!
Let's check in to see how we're going.
Tracking continues to be mostly terrible though CoinGecko. 
Since last time we've put together some data of our own to better understand what's going on.
Overall whilst marketcap has remained somewhat stable, after an initial steep decline, the volume is steadily declining.
Comparing Coins - Last 7 days
Over the last 7 days we see the top 3 coins by Marketcap (HOOPS, sGOAT and THC) a fair distance out from the rest of the field and the number one, HOOPS, almost double that of second placed sGOAT.
However when we look at 24hr volume, arguably the most important measures as it's what generates fees, the picture is a lot different.
HOOPS is still the leader but the next two are different and the distance between second and first place is much smaller than we saw in Marketcap. The distance to the next 3 highest is also less than we see in Marketcap.
If we look at the top 5 over the last 7 days by 24hr volume we see HOOPS has fluctuated between high low volume whereas the others have had more consistent volume patterns.

Surprisingly (given recent history) BLACKY is actually on CoinGecko.
We still see 4 memecoins not properly tracked by CoinGecko.
The Current Leaderboard
Not a huge change from last time we checked in. Top two places remain the same.
The biggest moves have been
- THC 4 --> 3
- PEDRO 3 --> 5
- fSONIC 6 --> 4
But realistically these weren't huge moves.
NOTE: Trading volume is 24hr and MC the last 3 days. This means these numbers are liable to see large movements.
NOTE: Rank (e.g., Points) are determined by: (GAS USED *0.35) + (DeFi VOLUME *0.15) + (Marketcap * 0.5)

We've seen both our liquidity and APR steadily decline since the meme season started. If we don't end up qualifying for rewards in the LP this may end up quite a costly lesson!

The PEDRO story is one of people slowly losing money.
Looks like some large holders rugged at the start and others have been slowly selling off ever since.
Website is nice. Usual memecoin roadmap about some vague future utility.
It's a pretty small TG at under 1K members (870 at time of writing). It's not that active, mostly automated posts from bots they've set up in there. Which is in line with the overall token performance.
The TG currently has a pinned message that has an ad linking out to a memecoin on Solana called $BILL which is proudly (?) homophobic and racist.
Yet another element of their TG which is less than ideal...
Their X is decent but not posting every day. Doesn't seem to be much depth on the content side (it's basically a Lion King character rip-off, yet another suspect IP memecoin).
What they are pushing hardest is their staking. Which is just a drip feed of of their token reserve to suppress sell pressure. Went live recently and this is actually positive as it's proof they can ship stuff.
Looking at the chart it hasn't seemed to have had much effect yet. But it's still probably too early to tell.

The first thing that should grab your attention is the token price. This is a low supply memecoin that has opted for high price as their hook. I like this strategy. It's interesting. And the price action over time has been good compared to most memecoins. 
It's a nice website. Unfortunately it's got a non-licenced image of Sonic The Hedgehog on it (albeit very small) and the IP is theme that way but not too strongly. It's not as much of an IP risk as other memecoins we've covered. Still not unique enough to completely avoid future issues. It's sad to see the lack of creativity in what is supposed to be a cutting edge space (aka crypto).
There's another of these memecoin style roadmaps. To their credit it's at least more detailed in term of the future projects than your standard memecoin fare (i.e., PEDRO) but they haven't actually done anything yet.
Well.. they kinda have.
The website links out to PaintSwap but not to a specific collection. However if you search around you'll find an IP nightmare NFT collection called the fSONIC Crew.
The website link is dead but the TG and X link out to this project. It's got 7 NFTs all up. Methinks it's an idea that stalled out.
Or maybe it's still in development.
Whatever it is it's a ticking timebomb in terms of legality. So they should kill it.
Their X profile is pretty good. They're leveraging the content angle well without being spectacular. The token price is a nice extra to the overall meme. Probably the most expensive memecoin in the market after BTC (prove me wrong maxis!).
The TG is under 1K, just (970 at time of writing), but it's decently active. Still have a few bots in there posting but at least there's other users active too.
