Anxiety, restlessness, and anguish are mental states that displayed as feelings of insecurity, worry and the outlook that something terrible is going to happen.
Anguish on the other hand, is a deep and indeterminable sense of fear, where most often the cause is unknown. ANGUISH is made of fear, restlessness, anxiety, and panic. These stressors cause an enormous amount of dissonance, which lead to issues of mental health. it has been found that anguish of a significant change in the way a young student lives (i.e. their new responsibilities, being on their own, multiple deadlines etc.) has contribute to significantly increased rates of college students with anxiety and depression.
SYMPTOMS
- Feeling irritable, tense, or restless
- Trouble concentrating or making decisions
- Trouble sleeping
- Having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom
CAUSES
- Post traumatic
- Excessive stress
- Inadequate nutrition
- Excessive stimulants, drugs or alcohol
- Family insecurity
- Uncontrollable obsessive thoughts in which the person's imagination goes beyond reality
SUGGESTED TREATMENT
- Psychological analysis or self analysis
- Stress reduction
- Eliminate alcohol and beverages with caffeine
- Mediation and relaxation
- Good diet
