All about Simba the best cat in the world
Do you treat your pets like family? If not you probably shouldn't have them
Introducing Simba, the worlds best cat ever...
This is my boy, Simba. The moment I saw his face on the photo from the cat rescue centre, I knew his home was meant to be with us, I saw it in his eyes, I felt it. When I contacted the rescue centre several other people had asked for him too, my heart sank, but he was meant to be in our family! It turned out he came with a sister and they desperately wished to keep them together.
Of course I knew instantly we would give them both a home but the lady began sending me a long list of reasons why they should stay together, she needn't of wasted her time. The other people had wanted him alone but not us. "We would love to home them both" I told her!
Simba and his beautiful sister, Nala have been with us for almost 4 years now and we couldn't imagine life without them.
Why are cats such special creatures?
Cats have long been regarded as special creatures, often associated with sacredness and mystical abilities. Their enigmatic behaviour and unique characteristics have captivated humans for centuries.
But why cats are considered special and sacred?
Cats have a remarkable ability to mesmerise and enchant humans. They possess an air of mystery and grace that sets them apart from other domesticated animals. Throughout history, cats have been associated with sacredness, revered as divine beings in various cultures. Cats are often believed to possess psychic abilities and the power to travel between dimensions.
The presence of cats is said to have healing effects, offering comfort and solace to those in need.
Cats are sacred creatures
Cats have been revered and worshipped in numerous ancient civilisations, such as ancient Egypt, where they were associated with the goddess Bastet. They were believed to bring good fortune and protect homes from evil spirits. Cats' independent nature, agility, and grace have always fascinated humans, leading to their special status in many cultures.
Cats' Ability to Travel Dimensions
There is a popular belief that cats possess the ability to travel between dimensions or alternate realities. This idea stems from their seemingly inexplicable behaviour, such as staring intently at empty spaces or reacting to unseen entities. While this notion is largely based on folklore and anecdotes, it has contributed to the perception of cats as mystical creatures.
Cats and their psychic abilities
Cats are often considered to have psychic abilities, such as sensing danger or predicting events. Many cat owners have reported their pets displaying unusual behaviour before earthquakes, storms, or even the passing of a loved one. While scientific evidence supporting these claims is scarce, the anecdotes and experiences shared by cat owners continue to fuel the belief in their psychic capabilities.
I have personally experienced this with my Nala. A couple of years ago I was out walking with my son, he must of been 5 at the time. My son pointed at a house and said "later the houses will go black, Nala told me" When we got home within 5 minutes an almighty storm came over, rain, thunder and lightening and a power cut put our house into darkness. I stood there with goosebumps as my son told me "see, Nala was right!"
Cats' Healing Qualities
The presence of a cat is said to have a calming effect on individuals, reducing stress levels and promoting emotional well-being. The act of stroking a cat's fur can release endorphins, leading to a sense of relaxation and contentment. Cats have been used in therapy programs to aid individuals suffering from various ailments, including depression, anxiety, and even physical pain. Examples: - Ancient Egyptian mythology is rich with stories of cats, particularly the goddess Bastet, who was believed to have the head of a lioness or domestic cat. Bastet was associated with fertility, protection, and good fortune. - Many cat owners have reported instances where their cats would stare intently at an empty space or seemingly follow something invisible with their eyes, leading to speculation about their ability to perceive dimensions beyond human comprehension.
Numerous accounts exist of cats displaying unusual behaviour prior to natural disasters, such as earthquakes or storms. These anecdotes have contributed to the belief that cats possess an innate ability to sense imminent danger.
The therapeutic benefits of cats have been recognised in various settings, such as nursing homes or hospitals. The presence of a cat can provide comfort and companionship, alleviating feelings of loneliness and anxiety.
Conclusion: Cats have a unique allure that has captivated humans throughout history. Their special and sacred status can be traced back to ancient civilisations, where they were revered as divine beings. While the notions of cats travelling dimensions and possessing psychic abilities may be rooted in folklore and anecdotes, they add to the mystique surrounding these enigmatic creatures. Furthermore, the healing qualities attributed to cats, their ability to provide emotional support and solace, cannot be underestimated. Cats truly hold a special place in our hearts and continue to fascinate us with their captivating presence.
