Some prominent blockchain gaming tokens have seen significant movements in the past day, as the token of the Arbitrum Layer-3 network, Xai, continues its recent price surge to establish a new all-time high (ATH), while Ronin has recovered after the wallet of one co-founder was hacked.

XAI witnessed a breakthrough to set a new ATH at $1.51 yesterday (23/2), but has since decreased to $1.38 at the current time. Nevertheless, it still has risen over 6% for the day and 37% for the week. This is among the few standout gaming tokens that have achieved new ATHs in recent days, including Heroes of Mavia's MAVIA, Parallel's PRIME, and Beam Network's BEAM.

The XAI token was launched in January and has nearly doubled in value since its initial release, according to data from CoinGecko. The latest surge occurred after Xai revealed plans to launch a token staking rewards program next week, with initial details gradually being unveiled through X.

XAI debuted with an airdrop for early supporters and select NFT holders, and at this ATH, the 125 million XAI from the airdrop is valued at approximately $189 million. Arbitrum is a scaling solution for the Ethereum network.

Meanwhile, RON, the token of the Ethereum scaling solution focused on the Ronin game, is gradually recovering since the downturn on Thursday night, following an attack on the personal wallet of network co-founder Jeff Zirlin, resulting in the loss of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency.

Approximately 3,250 ETH (9.5 million USD) was stolen from Zirlin's wallet and transferred through the Tornado Cash mixer to conceal the transactions. Zirlin confirmed on Twitter that he was a victim of the attack, immediately impacting the price of RON.

Ronin's representatives further asserted that the attack was limited to Zirlin's personal wallet and did not affect the network itself, its connection to Ethereum, or Sky Mavis – the developer of the Axie Infinity game. Ronin's bridge had previously been hacked for 625 million dollars in 2022, but affected users were eventually reimbursed by Sky Mavis.

RON plummeted from $3.16 to $2.74 within minutes after the attack. While it has partially recovered since then and has surged back above the $3 mark multiple times, it is currently fluctuating around $2.9.

RON has experienced significant growth in recent months, fueled by Pixels, a booming classic-style social farming game that has attracted hundreds of thousands of monthly active users to Ronin. PIXEL was launched on Monday, generating a trading volume of over 1 billion USD in less than a day, propelling it into the top 10 most traded coins worldwide on that day.
